We are pleased to report that both Pixie and Maisie are doing very well in their new homes and that as far as I know neither of them has had any accidents which is great.

Maisie is getting on really well with Bernie, her new retriever brother and is sleeping well.

Jodie is also moving on to pastures new tomorrow and then we will just have our two left.  I think they may still keep us on our toes.

Will try and post some more photos soon but been really busy the last couple of days with lots of visitors coming to say their goodbyes.

Maisie has now left us for pastures new and we would like to wish her and her new family a long and happy life together.  Seems really strange her with only three.  We will have to work extra hard to make it more fun here as there are less friends for them to play with.

Maisie enjoyed a final play session the the garden and then another back indoors in the shredded newspaper tent which they love.  Looking at the three in front of me though perhaps playing in the garden and getting wet and then playing in newspaper  is maybe not such a great idea.   The pups are now black and grey!!!

Pixie will be back later and it will be very interesting to see how she is received.  Tango was not too thrilled to see her pups back again but I think Cookie will be pleased to see her but we will have to see.  Will let you know how it goes.

As everyone who has been to visit will know, Chester has been quite scared of the pups.  However, this morning we were all out in the garden playing and then we realised one the puppies was missing.  We all ran around like idiots working out who was missing.  As usual it was little miss adventorous Jodie.   Eventually we found her, she was chasing Chester around the kitchen!   She had obviously come back in and managed to find her way through the house without anyone noticing.  Not sure quite what Chester thought but he did not seem to stressed but he was trying to hide.  It was quite funny.

Pixie had a very good night in her new home and slept really well, perhaps I should send the rest up to see if that would work with them!!!

So far it does not sound as if her Auntie Lotte or new brother Rigsby are very happy to have her but I am sure they will come round, slowly but surely.

All the other pups have had a good day here and have only had one or two accidents between them.  Mind you most of them have been because I have been rushing out with one of the others and they could not wait.  They are all asking when they need a wee etc so that is really good.  As of early evening Pixie has not had any accidents in her new home, good girl.

Tomorrow will be a day of very mixed emotions.  Maisie is leaving us in the morning and obviously this will be sad for us all, apart from her new owners.  Then in the evening Pixie is coming back with her mum and dad.  Her dad is going to cook us all dinner so looking forward to that.

Not quite sure when Jodie is leaving yet it will either be Sunday or maybe even Saturday.

In the meantime we are just making the most of the ones that are here and having fun with them.

Despite our best endeavours Cookie is determined to continue to feed her babies, even if she has to go in the garden to do it.  Bless.  Who are we to stop her, they are her babies after all.

Just thought I would mention to all our puppy buyers, and anyone else interested, we buy all our dog food on line from www.millbryhill.co.uk   If you have room to store it and order 2 14kg bags, which will see your pup through to adulthood they are normally very competitive and deliver free up to 30kg of weight.  We pay about £68 for these and at most other places they are about £48 each.  By the time your puppy has got through these they will be old enough to go onto adult food.  Just thought you may be interested.  We also have other places where we buy our worming and flea treatments much cheaper so just let us know if you want any more information.

We are all a bit sad here as Pixie has now left the building.  We are very sure she will have a wonderful like with Dani and Iain, Lotte and Rigsby and we will see her again on Wednesday, I know I am soppy but thats me!!  So glad we have decided to keep two and know they will keep us busy.  Anyway we still have four to keep us on our toes for now.

Today is our last day all together and we have tried to make it fun.  Obviously, as it is Pixie’s last day with us we felt we should train her to do a little gardening and at this time of year what better place to start than familiarising her with the rake.  She took to this very well

The pups have loves their play sessions today which seem to have lasted for very long periods.  They have had great fun in the tunnel and will be given the tent full of shredded newspaper tomorrow.  This is always a favourite and we are sure will  result in some very dirty puppies, at least this litter are black and white anyway.

We are off to the vets tomorrow for vaccinations and puppy checks and will let you know how we get on.  Not expecting any problems with any puppies that are due to be going but may have a slight problem with Jazz but will see what the vet has to say.
